Glady's Porter Zoo to host Zoo Nights and Lights

BROWNSVILLE, Texas (ValleyCentral) — Glady's Porter Zoo is hosting its annual Zoo Nights and Lights family-friendly event.

The event will take place from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 6 through Sunday, Dec. 8 and will feature live musical and dance performances, along with bright light displays pathways throughout the zoo.

Additionally, there will be a zoo staff Christmas tree contest, where guests will vote and decide who the winner is.

The admission fee is $5 per person and tickets are available online and at the gate. Guests can get free admission by donating a new, unwrapped toy for the Food Bank Rio Grande Valley.

Toy donations must be $5 or more and only one free admission is granted per toy donation.
