Garcia wins Commissioner At-Large seat for City of Weslaco, unofficial results show

WESLACO, Texas (ValleyCentral) — According to election day unofficial results, the City of Weslaco has declared Garcia as Commissioner At-Large in the Dec. 14 runoff election.

Dominic A. Reyna and Pete Garcia were vying for the Commissioner seat for the City of Weslaco.

During his campaign, Reyna spoke on issues contributing to the economic health and vitality of Weslaco. He is a known entrepreneur in various industries in Weslaco and across the Valley.

Throughout his campaign, Garcia Jr. has spoken about his experience and dedication to the community.

According to unofficial results, Garcia gathered a total of 1,431 votes and Reyna fell behind with a total of 1321 votes.
