FM 510 to close to through traffic, from FM 803 to FM 1575, starting April 22

CAMERON COUNTY, Texas (ValleyCentral) — The Texas Department of Transportation announced a date change in the closure of FM 510 to through traffic from FM 803 to FM 1575.

Beginning Tuesday, April 22, the closure will last for approximately four months, according to TxDOT.

The closure is necessary for roadway reconstruction. In the meantime, drivers will be directed to a guided detour route along FM 803, FM 2893, and FM 1575.

The closure and detour will remain in place through mid-August.
