HARLINGEN, Texas (ValleyCentral) — The Harlingen Consolidated Independent School District is hosting a Financial Literacy Conference on Thursday.
The event aims to engage students and the community, offering financial education from kindergarten through senior year.
Key seminars include financial aid, investments, checking and savings accounts, ID theft prevention, and credit card management.
Lone Star National Bank and First Community Bank will sponsor the event. There will be activities for children and informational sessions for parents.
The conference is part of HCISD's ongoing Financial Literacy Month and a broader initiative to provide continuous financial education to students.
