Fatal auto-pedestrian crash involving Border Patrol unit

ESCOBARES, Texas (ValleyCentral) — Escobares police are investigating a fatal auto-pedestrian accident involving a Border Patrol unit.

Public Information Officer Julian Alvarez says an on-duty Border Patrol agent struck a man with the unit.

The crash happened Tuesday around 11 p.m. near U.S. Highway 83 and FM 649.
