The Edinburg World Birding Center is hosting a free event to celebrate the Halloween season this Saturday.
Spooktacular 2024 will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. Saturday at the birding center, located at 714 S. Raul Longoria Rd.
“The Edinburg World Birding Center invites ghouls and goblins of all ages to experience a magical night filled with exciting activities,” the city said in a news release. “Spooktacular 2024 promises to be an unforgettable event, offering a range of thrilling experiences.”
Festivities include spooky-themed games suitable for children and adults, candy offered throughout the event, interactive booths featuring Halloween-themed educational activities, photo ops with complete themed backdrops and props, and a family-friendly Halloween film to end the evening.
“It’s a fantastic opportunity to celebrate the Halloween season in a safe and welcoming environment while exploring the beautiful surroundings of the birding center,” the city said in the release.
