Facility projects underway at TSTC Harlingen campus

HARLINGEN, Texas (ValleyCentral) — New facility projects and enhancements are underway at the Texas State Technical College in Harlingen.

TSTC will soon have three upgraded facilities that will allow students to complete their respective program.

The project upgrades will aid in several TSTC programs including:

• Automotive Technology and Diesel Equipment Technology
• Electrical Lineworker and Management Technology
• Biomedical Equipment Technology
• Plumbing and Pipefitting Technology
• Wind Energy Technology

TSTC construction project manager Mauricio Gomez estimates all three facilities will be completed by July 2025.

Upgrades include staff offices, virtual reality rooms, transmission and engine labs, computer labs, fiberglass labs and trainer spaces.
