Elsa PD: Woman hit by truck, remains in serious condition

ELSA, Texas (ValleyCentral) — The Elsa Police Department is investigating an auto-pedestrian accident that occurred Tuesday at the intersection of FM88 and 4th St.

Police say around 6:18 p.m. 34-year-old Liliana Reyes was hit while she was walking across FM88 by a Chevrolet pickup truck.

Reyes was transported to an area hospital for treatment and is listed in serious but stable condition.

The driver of the truck, identified as 18-year-old Dellan Bermudez, remained at the scene and fully cooperated with police.
