EDINBURG, Texas (ValleyCentral) — Edinburg police are asking for the public's assistance in locating a vehicle suspected to be involved in a hit-and-run investigation.
According to a news release from the Edinburg Police Department, at 3:08 a.m. Saturday, authorities responded to an auto-pedestrian accident at the 5000 block of West State Highway 107.
At the scene, authorities were informed that the suspected vehicle was an older model tan or gray Chevrolet Silverado from 2003 to 2006. Additionally, the vehicle has distinctive, white-colored front left and right quarter panels.

Authorities say the suspected vehicle drove away from the scene going eastbound on State Highway 107.
The victim was identified as a 23-year-old man, who was taken to the Mission Hospital and is expected to recover.
