Edinburg PD host women's self-defense course

EDINBURG, Texas (ValleyCentral) — The Edinburg Police Department is hosting a three-day women's self-defense course.

The event will take place from 6 p.m. to 9 a.m. from July 1 to July 3 at the Edinburg Training Facility, located at 1309 N. Doolittle Road.

Women ages 18 and up are invited to join. The course is designed to teach women the necessary skills and knowledge to protect themselves.

Participants are asked to wear comfortable clothing and shoes for the hands-on training sessions.
