Edinburg City Council Meeting Agenda Analysis

The Edinburg City Council will convene on January 20, 2026, at 6:00 PM, at the City Hall-Council Chambers, located at 415 West University Dr. The meeting will commence with a call to order and the establishment of a quorum, followed by a prayer and the pledge of allegiance. The certification of public notice and disclosure of conflict of interest will also be addressed. The mayor's report and city manager's report will be presented, which will include discussions on the All-America City David Chavana 10K Run/Walk, Fun Run, and Miracle Mile. A proclamation recognizing January 2026 as Edinburg Consolidated Independent School District Board of Trustees Month will be presented by Clarice Y. Balderas, City Secretary. The public will have the opportunity to provide comments, limited to three minutes, on any topic they wish to discuss.
