Drivers advised of nightly road closures for the I-2/I-69C Interchange project

PHARR, Texas (ValleyCentral) — Motorists are advised of the upcoming nightly closures due to the I-2/I-69C Interchange project.

Detour signs will be in place to direct drivers through the alternate routes.

The date, time and road closures are the following:

Sunday, June 16 through Sunday, June 238 p.m. to 6 a.m.The I-2 westbound frontage road between Cage Boulevard and Sugar Road will be closed.
Monday, June 17 through Wednesday, June 198 p.m. to 6 a.m.The I-69C northbound frontage road between I-2 and SH495, will be closed.
Monday, June 17 through Sunday, June 238 p.m. to 6 a.m. The I-2 underpasses at Jackson Road and U.S. Business 83 will be closed.
Wednesday, June 19 though Friday, June 218 p.m. to 6 a.m.The I-69C southbound frontage between SH495 and I-2 will be closed.
Friday, June 21 11 p.m. to 7 a.m.The ‘Edinburg to Harlingen’ direct connector will be closed.
Saturday, June 22 through Monday, June 249 p.m. to 8 a.m.The I-2 eastbound main lanes between the Sugar Road exit and Vic’s Drive will be closed. Eastbound traffic will be rerouted onto the frontage road at the Sugar Road exit ramp. The ‘McAllen to Edinburg’ direct connector and Cage Boulevard underpass will be closed to help with the flow of traffic.
Sunday, June 239 p.m. to 6 a.m.The I-2 eastbound main lanes between the Sugar Road exit and Vic’s Drive will be closed.  Eastbound traffic will be rerouted onto the frontage road at the Sugar Road exit ramp. The ‘McAllen to Edinburg’ direct connector and Cage Boulevard underpass will be closed to help with the flow of traffic.
