Driscoll Children's Hospital patients receive holiday cheer

EDINBURG, Texas (ValleyCentral) — The Driscoll Electric Parade visited the patients at Driscoll Children's Hospital to bring holiday cheer.

The parade route went through the hospital campus and was cheered on by patients and families.

"This is what the holiday season is all about," said McAllen City Manager Isaac Tawil. "A parade like this at Driscoll Hospital brings joy to a sick child during the holiday season. There is nothing more special than that."

The Driscoll Electric Parade will be featured at the South Pole Illuminated Festival until Dec. 29.
