PRIMERA, Texas (ValleyCentral) — The City of Primera is gearing up to host its third annual Winterfest for the holidays.
The event will take place from noon to 8 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 21 at the Primera City Park located at 22893 Stuart Place Road.
Manuel Treviño, Public Safety Consultant with the City of Primera, said this is their third year bringing the event together, and they are excited about the festivities.
"The city starts getting ready almost two or three months before, to make sure we have enough restrooms and we getting a hold of our vendors," Treviño said.
He added that they brought back the much-requested ice skating rink. The city is also setting up new games for children to enjoy.
The event is free and open to the public. It will feature music, food vendors and rides for everyone of all ages to enjoy.
