City of McAllen kick off holiday season with Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony

McALLEN, Texas (ValleyCentral) — The City of McAllen welcomes the holidays with its annual Christmas Tree Lighting ceremony.

The holiday season is set as the city prepares for its South Pole Illuminated Festival.

The ceremony will feature the lighting of the tallest digital Christmas tree in the United States, which stands over 100 feet tall.

The ceremony will also include "The Concert in the Sky" fireworks show.
