The Alton City Commission will discuss significant items including the preliminary plat approval for the Willow Creek Subdivision Master Plan, the purchase of a dry-prime pump for sanitary sewer mitigation efforts, and the adoption of Fire Marshal's Office Standard Operating Guidelines. Also on the agenda is a proclamation for "Gun Violence Prevention and Safe Firearm Storage Awareness Month." Public input is encouraged.

- 2. Discuss and consider the approval of an agreement between the County of Hidalgo Community Service Agency, AmeriCorps Seniors, and the City of Alton Community Services Department Senior Program.
- 3. Discuss and consider the adoption of the Fire Marshal's Office Standard Operating Guidelines.
- 4. Discuss and consider adoption of Proclamation 2026-16, proclaiming June 2026 as "Gun Violence Prevention and Safe Firearm Storage Awareness Month" in the City of Alton.
- 5. Discuss and consider approval of a request from the Hidalgo County Elections Department to utilize a city facility for the 2026 General Election.
