Cerda: I have not seen a better region for opportunity and talent than the RGV

1 month ago 40

After reviewing all the economic data and how it is moving now, México will probably become the tenth largest economy in the world.

All in this room know why: the nearshoring.

However, we also know that the center of nearshoring will be the border of the United States and México.

Therefore, I would like to extend my heartfelt congratulations and sincere gratitude to the City of Pharr authorities for their foresight in conceptualizing a project of this magnitude.

The Pharr Global Business Hub is fertile ground for international companies like ours to evolve into global entities. It will provide a structured learning environment for every aspect of business expansion, from the basics to how to Kaufman their business,

learn how to i-Korp their product or service and learn how to connect to the region and become part of it.

As Mr. Pacino said in the movie Scent of a Woman, ‘I have been around you know.’

From one of my actual positions as a Latin American chairman of the International Association of Microsoft Partners, I have been in contact with most of the major cities of the Americas, from Buenos Aries to Seattle and New York, passing through Uruguay, Peru, Bogotá, San Jose de Costa Rica, Mexico, San Diego, LA, San Jose of California, Denver, Austin, Houston, Dallas, Chicago, New Jersey, Philadelphia, among others.

Please, believe me, I haven’t seen a region with a better combination of opportunity

talent, vision, authorities, academy, bilingual capabilities than the Rio Grande Valley.

All future companies will be technology-based. But with AI, the future is here, and the place for this future is the Pharr Global Business Hub.

To conclude my participation, I would like to thank the Rio Grande Valley region for accepting our company as one of their own, giving us the opportunity to realize our dream of becoming a global company.

Special thanks go to Linda Ufland of the ECC (UTRGV Entrepreneurship and Commercialization Center; Julio Quiroga of the ECC, Ron Garza of UTRGV, and Dr. James Li of UTRGV.

They are a crucial part of our journey.

Thank you all.
