Camp Rio presents "Campy Christmas"

HARLINGEN, Texas (ValleyCentral) — Camp Rio's annual "Campy Christmas" event, will take place on Dec. 16 from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. in Brownsville.

The event will feature local vendors selling handmade goods, food options like barbecue, pizza, tamales, s'mores, and hot cocoa, and various outdoor activities such as canoeing, archery, tomahawk throwing, and carnival games.

Admission costs are $8 for adults and $3 for children if pre-registered, or $10 and $5 at the gate.

The event aims to create family memories, with photo booths and a chance to meet Santa.

Camp Rio has worked hard to prepare for the event, which will proceed rain or shine, according to the staff.
