BROWNSVILLE, Texas (ValleyCentral) — Brownsville Police are searching for a lead suspect believed to be involved in an aggravated robbery on Pablo Kisel last month.
According to Abril Luna, Public Information Officer with the Brownsville Police Department, the incident took place Nov. 22.
On that Friday, Brownsville police responded to a call at the parking lot of a restaurant, located at the 3200 block of Pablo Kisel, where an aggravated robbery took place.
The victim told police she had her 2024 Lexus stolen at gunpoint. Two others were also threatened with the handgun during the assault.
Three days later, on Nov. 25, Jariod Raphael Orozco was arrested in connection to the crime.
Orozco was charged with aggravated robbery, a first degree felony, and three counts of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, a second degree felony.
Luna said the prime suspect in the case, identified as Pedro Antonio Sosa, remains at large.
Authorities believe he is hiding with family in Matamoros, Tamaulipas. He is considered armed and dangerous.
