Brownsville PD search for group in Vape City aggravated robbery

BROWNSVILLE, Texas (ValleyCentral) — Brownsville police are searching for four men, who are people of interest in an aggravated robbery.

The incident occurred at 1 a.m. on April 20 at Vape City located at the 2800 block of Boca Chica Boulevard.

According to a social media post by the Brownsville Police Department, two men from the group exited the store after failing to provide identification and waited outside.

The two remaining men stayed inside the store. One of them was wearing a black shirt and hoodie around his waist and the second man wearing a black and white hoodie.

The release stated, that the men attempted to purchase items without identification.

Moments later, the man wearing the black shirt grabbed several items without paying and walked toward the door.

Surveillance footage caught the store manager attempting to retrieve the items but the man pulled out a handgun from his right pocket.
