BPD: Search for person of interest in car theft

BROWNSVILLE, Texas (ValleyCentral) — Brownsville police are searching for a person of interest involved in a car theft.

Police say the stolen 2024 Chevy Malibu was crossed into Mexico via the Rio Bravo-Donna International Bridge.

The vehicle was stolen out of Brownsville from the 600 block of Paredes Line Rd.

Anyone with information on the person of interest or his whereabouts is asked to contact Brownsville Crime Stoppers at (956) 546-8477.
