BROWNSVILLE, Texas (ValleyCentral) — Two arrests have been made in a robbery at a pawn shop on Monday, according to Brownsville police.
At approximately 5:19 p.m., officers responded to the First Cash Pawn located at the 5200 block of Padre Island Highway for a robbery in progress.
The caller reported that a man and woman had stolen several gold chains and assaulted an employee.
They also stated the suspects were fleeing and provided a description of the vehicle and direction of travel.
Officers located the vehicle at the intersection of Lourdes Boulevard and Yera Street and conducted a traffic stop.
Both suspects were arrested.
