Border Patrol arrest convicted felon

EDINBURG, Texas (ValleyCentral) — The United States Border Patrol RGV Sector, alongside other law enforcement agencies arrested a wanted man.

According to a news release from the U.S. Border Patrol, the agency arrested the migrant with assistance from the Texas Department of Public Safety and the Edinburg Police Department.

"Working together with Edinburg PD & Texas Department of Public Safety, Border Patrol Intelligence Agents were able to arrest a [the suspect]," said Border Patrol.

The suspect was a convicted felon for aggravated sexual assault of a child, the release added.
