Body found in Rio Grande near Mission RV park

MISSION, Texas (ValleyCentral) — Police are investigating a drowning at that happened near an RV Park in Mission.

At approximately 7:15 a.m., the body of a man was found off the Rio Grande near Chimney Park RV Resort located on the 4200 block of S. Conway Ave.

The Mission Police Department was contacted by Border Patrol agents to assist at the scene.

Police have not released the identity of the deceased.
