Body found in Donna ditch identified

DONNA, Texas (ValleyCentral) — The body of a Donna resident who was found in a ditch Monday evening has been identified.

The body of 36-year-old Abraham Cedillo was found in a neighborhood ditch on Whalen Road at approximately 6 p.m. by someone who was passing by the area, according to Donna police.

It is believed Cedillo collapsed into the ditch, according to Sergeant Adrian Hooks with the Donna Police Department.

No foul play is suspected.

Officials are waiting on toxicology reports as the cause of the accident is still pending.
