"Black Clown" moves filming to the RGV

HARLINGEN, Texas (ValleyCentral) — The Rio Grande Valley has a thriving film community and one of its stars is Alyssa Renee.

Although not a newcomer to the film world, Alyssa has helped bring the RGV into better view when it comes to film.

She is a producer for ARO Productions that is working on a project called "Black Clown". The project started in Dallas with four episodes already done.

However, when she spoke with other producers she suggested bringing the project to the RGV. So for the first time "Black Clown" will be filmed in the RGV with an all-Hispanic cast.

Black Clown can currently be seen on Tubi TV and Amazon Prime.
