Authorities investigating apartment shooting in Starr County

STARR COUNTY, Texas (ValleyCentral) — Authorities are investigating a shooting at a Starr County apartment complex.

On Monday morning, deputies responded to a welfare concern on Guerra Street in Las Lomas. Upon arrival, they found several "bullet impacts," to the entrance of an apartment complex, a post from the Starr County Sheriff's Office stated.

Deputies also found several shell casings on the roadway.

"Investigators executed a search warrant in the unoccupied apartment," the sheriff's office stated. "On injuries have been reported at this time."

The case remains under investigation.
