Alamo expressway exit ramp closes temporarily

ALAMO, Texas (ValleyCentral) — An exit ramp on the expressway in Alamo will be closed temporarily for road work, according to the Texas Department of Transportation.

Eastbound exit Ramp 150A in Alamo between Chavez Road and North Alamo Road will be closed starting Jan. 29.

The ramp will be closed daily from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. through the end of February.

TxDOT will also be reducing lanes along Frontage Road.

The ramp closure and lane reduction will help TxDOT crews improve a storm drain crossing and enhance safety.

Drivers are asked to plan ahead to avoid any delays.
