Abbott projected as GOP nominee as Hinojosa leads Democratic governor primary

On the Democratic side, polling from the University of Houston Hobby School of Public Affairs shows Texas Rep. Gina Hinojosa, D-Austin, as the likely winner, and on the Republican side, incumbent Gov. Greg Abbott is the favorite to win the Republican primary.
