A podcast with CEO Group leader Joaquin Spamer – in Audio

McALLEN, Texas – CEO Group leader Joaquin Spamer recently sat down for an in-depth conversation about the new RioPlex marketing initiative with Rio Grande Guardian anchor Mark Hanna.

The CEO Group is an offshoot of the Hidalgo County Prosperity Task Force and comprises business men and women from the Rio Grande Valley and northern Tamaulipas. 

When the CEO Group proposed a marketing initiative that would brand the Valley and northern Tamaulipas as the RioPlex region, Hidalgo County Judge Richard Cortez, founder of the Prosperity Task Force, was receptive.

In the podcast, Spamer went to great lengths to explain that RioPlex is not an entity and therefore would not be seeking to oust existing economic development organizations or regional chambers of commerce.
