OLMITO, Texas (ValleyCentral) — Four people have been charged in an operation to sneak drugs into the Carrizalez Rucker Detention Center.
Ana Maria Recio, John Fontenot, Jesus Abelardo Vallejo and Christopher John Olsen were arrested on charges of criminal conspiracy, manufacture or delivery of a substance PG 1 and PG2, and bringing prohibited substances and items to a correctional facility.
On Jan. 17, Recio was caught with two baggies of methamphetamine and MDMA/Ecstacy while delivering a pair of white shoes to inmate Vallejo at the jail.

She arrived at the jail around noon, and authorities say they smelled a strong odor of spray paint on her person. The drugs were discovered in the soles of the shoes she was delivering.
Upon further investigating, authorities discovered that Recio was asked by former inmate Fontenot to transport the drugs.
Additionally, Recio's husband, Olsen who is also an inmate, was discovered to be part of the operation.
Investigators were able to obtain a confession from all parties, according to a release from Cameron County.
