1 person dead in 2 vehicle McAllen crash, Fire officials say

McALLEN, Texas (ValleyCentral) — McAllen police are investigating a fatal crash that happened Sunday morning that left one person dead.

The McAllen fire department says it received a call of a two-vehicle accident at 9:50 a.m. on South 23rd Street and Dicker Road.

McAllen fire chief Juan Gloria told ValleyCentral that at the scene firefighters found a vehicle rolled over with two women trapped inside. The passenger died at the scene.

He said both drivers were taken to an hospital but their conditions have not been released.

Hidalgo fire and police department, the McAllen police department and the Texas Department of Public Safety also responded to the accident.
