Woman shot, husband turns gun on himself

PRIMERA, Texas (ValleyCentral) — Emergency Medical Services reported a shooting Thursday morning in Primera off of Frontage and Hand Road.

An initial investigation says a man reportedly shot his wife in the pelvic area and then turned the gun on himself.

The man and the woman were transported to an area hospital.

This is a preliminary report and ValleyCentral is working to gather information on this incident.
