BROWNSVILLE, Texas (ValleyCentral) — The 32nd annual Winter Texan Expo has wrapped up in the Rio Grande Valley.
The three-day event, hosted by Welcome Home RGV, was held at the McAllen Convention Center and the Brownsville Events Center.
This year marked the first time the event expanded to Brownsville.
Winter Texans were welcomed by vendors to learn about attractions, organizations, businesses, and services offered in the Valley.
"From restaurants to healthcare to hotels and travel, we have everything for Winter Texans," said Sarah Denzer, Tour Manager at Welcome Home RGV.
The expo began Tuesday in McAllen and concluded Thursday in Brownsville.
"The last two days in McAllen, we had over 3,000 people visiting. In Brownsville, we've had over 1,000," Denzer continued. "Lots of Winter Texans, and great vendors. It's been a great show."
