Weslaco road closure after crash, 2 people hospitalized

WESLACO, Texas (ValleyCentral) — Two people have been transported to the hospital following a three-vehicle crash on Monday evening, according to the Weslaco Police Department.

Weslaco PD says the crash occurred on the roadway and ended up at the Texas Food Mart, located at the intersection of Mile 10 North and FM 88.

Northbound and Southbound traffic on Texas Blvd and Mile 10 is closed as Weslaco PD investigates.

Drivers are being asked to take alternative routes and avoid the area.

Traffic delays are expected.
