Weslaco Chamber hosts back-to-school teacher fair

WESLACO, Texas (ValleyCentral) — The Weslaco Chamber of Commerce invites all mid-Valley educators to its 6th Annual back-to-school Teacher Fair.

The annual event will welcome local businesses and organizations to provide teachers with resources to prepare for the new school year.

"Our annual back-to-school Teacher Fair is a special opportunity to celebrate and support our educators while building strong connections between our schools and local businesses," said Barbara Jean Garza, CEO at the Weslaco Chamber of Commerce.

The event will also feature vendor booths, school supplies, and raffle giveaways.

"We recognize the vital role educators play in shaping our future, and this event is our way of helping them kick off the school year with the support and appreciation they deserve," Garza continued.

The back-to-school teacher fair begins at 9 a.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 12, at the Palacio de Destinee Event Center, 1502 N. Border Ave.

The event will conclude at 1 p.m.
