HARLINGEN, Texas (ValleyCentral) — The Harlingen Economic Development Corporation is assisting restaurants to find employees amid the ongoing immigration raids across the nation.
As previously reported, the immigration raids have instilled fear and impacted business among restaurant workers.
To help restaurants impacted by the current events, the Harlingen EDC is hosting a restaurant job fair every Tuesday in July to help boost employment for local restaurant owners.
The lineup for the July 15th job fair includes:
- Piccola Italia
- La Fonda de Benny
- SMOKE: Texas BBQ & Watering Hole
- Los Cuates Restaurante
These restaurants are accepting applications for cooks, servers, hosts, dishwashers, waitstaff, bussers, kitchen staff, and more.
All experience levels are welcome to apply.
The July 15 job fair will be held from 3 to 6 p.m. at the Harlingen Convention Center, 701 Harlingen Heights Dr.
