Week 7: High School Football Team of the Week

HARLINGEN, Texas (ValleyCentral) — ValleySportCentral has nominated three high school football teams to claim the title of Team of the Week.

The nominees for Week 7 are the Harlingen Cardinals, McAllen Memorial and Mercedes Tigers!

The Cardinals opened District 32-6A play by taking down Brownsville Veterans 40-39 in overtime. 

McAllen Memorial beat rival McAllen 35-21 to improve to 3-0 in District 16-5A Division I.
