WATCH: Porch pirate takes package from homeowner's front door

SAN BENITO, Texas (ValleyCentral) — The San Benito Police Department is investigating multiple cases of theft after a video circulating on social media gained local attention.

A Valley homeowner shared the following video of a porch pirate coming out of a white Toyota and stealing a package from the victim's front door in broad daylight.

Authorities say it is important for homeowners to remain vigilant and know that using monitoring equipment, such as a door ring camera, can greatly increase the possibility of helping to solve a case.
