'Voices from the Valley' book reveals domestic violence stories

HARLINGEN, Texas (ValleyCentral) — Representatives from Angels of Love Publishing discuss the book titled "Voices from the Valley," which shares personal stories of women who have experienced domestic violence.

The book aims to empower and provide courage to those currently suffering from domestic violence, highlighting the importance of breaking the silence and giving a voice to victims.

The authors emphasize the prevalence of domestic violence, noting that one in three women globally is affected.

They also promote an upcoming writer's workshop on Oct. 11, 2025, at the Holiday Inn Express in McAllen, where participants can learn to write their own stories, which is seen as a healing process.

The workshop will be followed by a book signing event, sponsored by Sarah's company, to further support and empower women.
