PHARR, Texas – Economist Eduardo Vázquez studied artificial intelligence in Argentina. He later set up his own AI consultancy business and company, ASPE.AI, in Monterrey, Mexico.

On May 9, 2024, Vázquez was keynote speaker at the Pharr Bridge Board/Pharr Economic Development Corporation 3rd Industrial Warehouse Summit.

He was invited to speak at the event by his tio, moderator Jorge Torres of InterLink Trade Services.

In his remarks, Vázquez predicted AI will revolutionize the logistics industry.

Afterwards, Luis Bazan, director of the Pharr International Bridge, told the Rio Grande Guardian International News Service that everyone in the import-export business should watch Vásquez’s presentation. “We knew Eduardo would be a great keynote speaker. He knocked it out of the park,” Bazan said.

In his program notes for the summit, Bazan wrote: “The integration of AI in logistical trade heralds a new era of efficiency, optimization, and seamless operations. The intersection of artificial intelligence and logistical trade is set to revolutionize the way was perceive and engage in supply chain dynamics, enhancing connectivity, reducing costs, and elevating performance standards to unprecedented levels.”

Vázquez gave the Rio Grande Guardian permission to air his presentation at IWS3 in full. Here is a video recording of his presentation:
