Vaqueros Nation: Keeping the fire alive 

In this week’s all-new episode of Vaqueros Nation, hosts Blake and Janelle celebrate the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley (UTRGV) football team’s continued winning streak, following a dominant win to close out non-conference play against Texas Wesleyan. 

The episode kicks off with a full breakdown of the Vaqueros’ 61–13 victory over Texas Wesleyan. We also hear from UTRGV Head Football Coach Travis Bush, who shares his thoughts on finishing non-conference play with a perfect record.

After covering all the football highlights, Janelle shifts the spotlight to basketball, offering an in-depth preview of the upcoming men's and women's seasons. With games just around the corner, she takes viewers inside the first practices of the year and what fans can expect on the court. 

To wrap things up, Blake sits down with Running Backs Coach and Recruiting Coordinator Marco Regalado. Since joining the UTRGV coaching staff in 2023, Regalado has become a key part of the program. He shares what it’s been like behind the scenes so far and previews what the team hopes to achieve as they gear up for conference play next week.
