EDINBURG, Texas (ValleyCentral) — The Valley Alliance of Mentors for Opportunities and Scholarships (VAMOS) hosted its 29th Annual Banquet to honor outstanding students from the Rio Grande Valley.
This Wednesday, students were awarded the VAMOS four-year renewable scholarship at the Edinburg Conference Center at Renaissance.
During the banquet, their sponsor, Chick-fil-A RGV, presented a $250,000 donation.
"We are incredibly grateful to Chick-fil-A Rio Grande Valley for their continued support and generous donation," said Dr. Armando Moncada, VAMOS Board President. "Their investment in our students will have a lasting impact, helping students achieve their academic goals."
