ValleyCentral Team of the Week Winner Week 7: McAllen Memorial Mustangs

HARLINGEN, Texas (ValleyCentral) — The votes are in for Week 7 of ValleyCentral's Team of the Week for Rio Grande Valley high school football.

This week's winner is the McAllen Memorial Mustangs

McAllen Memorial received 51% of the vote, a total of 492 votes.

In second place, the Mercedes Tigers received 43% of the vote with 406 votes, and the Harlingen Cardinals came in third place with 6% of the vote, or 67 votes.

Last Friday, the Mustangs defeated the McAllen Bulldogs by a score of 35-21.

The Mustangs will travel to La Joya Stadium on Thursday to take on the Juarez-Lincoln Huskies.

Kick off is set for 7 p.m.
