ValleyCentral Team of the Week Winner Week 6: Los Fresnos Falcons

HARLINGEN, Texas (ValleyCentral) — The votes are in for Week 6 of ValleyCentral's Team of the Week for Rio Grande Valley high school football.

This week's winner is the Los Fresnos Falcons.

Los Fresnos received 51% of the vote with a total of 415 votes.

In second place, the PSJA Memorial Wolverines received 29% of the vote with 233 votes, and the La Villa Cardinals came in third place with 20% of the vote, or 168 votes.

Last Friday, Los Fresnos defeated the Sharyland Rattlers by a score of 63-20.

The undefeated Falcons will have a bye this week and return to action on Oct. 17 as they travel to take on the San Benito Greyhounds in a District 32-6A matchup.

Kick off is set for 7 p.m.
