ValleyCentral Team of the Week Winner Week 2: Edinburg Bobcats

HARLINGEN, Texas (ValleyCentral) — The votes are in for Week 2 of ValleyCentral's Team of the Week, for Rio Grande Valley high school football.

This week's winner is the Edinburg Bobcats.

The Bobcats received 54% of the vote with 2,311 votes. In second place, the Brownsville Rivera Raiders with 34% getting 1,512 votes, and the McAllen Bulldogs in third place, with 12% getting 532 votes.

Edinburg defeated the Edinburg Vela Sabercats last Friday by a score of 19-6.

This week, the Bobcats will host the Brownsville Hanna Eagles on Thursday. Kick off is set for 7 p.m.
