HARLINGEN, Texas (ValleyCentral) — The Valley Storm Team is watching a complex of heavy rain and thunderstorms to our north.
This will likely, very slowly, push south into Monday afternoon, bringing heavy rainfall, which could lead to flash flooding concerns.
Observed rainfall rates have been between 2-3 inches per hour with localized amounts between 3-6".
Additional showers and thunderstorms have developed across portions of the Valley as well. The main threats are heavy rainfall, gusty winds and lightning.
