WESLACO, Texas (ValleyCentral) — A nonprofit economic development organization in the Rio Grande Valley is highlighting the region as part of its "One Region, One Voice" initiative.

The RGV Partnership attended a statewide event highlighting the Valley's infrastructure, workforce, available land, business opportunities and systems making the region ideal for companies to expand or relocate.

"The ICSC Red River event was the perfect place for us to promote the Rio Grande Valley as a
thriving region open for business," Daniel Silva, President CEO with RGV Partnership said.

RGV Partnership plans to attend future events on a national level, focusing on networking with retailers from across the United States.

Silva hopes the RGV Partnership "One Region, One Voice" initative can bring light and opportunity to the Rio Grande Valley and its partners.

"I want for the for the municipalities here across the valley, all 47 cities understand we're here to try to provide a service to them and try to help them out," Silva said. "When we have events, we want for them [Valley cities] to come out when we go to Dallas and Las Vegas. We want for them to understand they can give us material and we can promote their city because what benefits them is going to benefit everybody else."
