BROWNSVILLE, Texas (ValleyCentral) — A Valley Metro Bus flipped on the roadway this morning causing one person to be transported to the hospital, the Texas Department of Public Safety reported.
A spokesperson for Texas DPS said the Valley Metro Bus came out of Weslaco and was traveling eastbound on highway 48 near the port of Brownsville when it lost control.
At about 10:38 a.m., the metro lost control and flipped on its side.
Authorities say there were travelers on board and one person was transported to Valley Baptist Hospital.
