UTRGV police search for suspect in campus burglary

BROWNSVILLE, Texas (ValleyCentral) — Authorities are looking for the people responsible for breaking into a University of Texas Rio Grande Valley facility on Wednesday.

According to UTRGV, university police received a report of a burglary at 6:46 p.m. at the UTRGV Duck Head building located in Brownsville.

No items were reported stolen from the facility. However, the suspect(s) caused an unknown amount of damage to the exterior and interior of the building as they forcefully entered.

Police say there are no suspects at this time.
